The flavors of their food never disappoints. Panda Express is right next to this place but theirs is always better and the food is made fresh. I get a chicken teriyaki combo with double meat for around 11. And the portions are huge ! Always some left over.
I've always liked their food but I accidentally dropped my daughter's chicken today and it was completely my fault. I was going to pay for another but they jumped into action to clean it up and had a new order ready for me in minutes without charging me! Very appreciative! Thank you!

We love it here. My wife, grandson and I love the taste of the food and the owners are very friendly. It’s a walk up stir fry in the Asheville mall and everything’s fresh and really delicious.They have rice, lo mein noodles, veggies, chicken , beef and shrimp. We always get the chicken, it’s so tasty, the prices are great and the line moves fast. We would drive from Weaverville just for the food. We recently moved to Asheville and now we’re closer!
The Asheville Mall food court had Panda Express and Teriyaki Japan right next to each other. I was heavily considering Panda Express until I saw the prices at Teriyaki Japan, which were a little lower. My boyfriend and I each got the chicken teriyaki special with noodles and a spring roll, and we both also shared a drink which came out to around 22. There was a LOT of food! We were very satisfied with the portions and had to take one of them home. The food itself tasted good. There are sauces that you can get to make it more flavorful if you wish. Service was quick and friendly!
Love this place. Price and quality are awesome! I get the Teriyaki Chicken with Rice, Lo Mein, and Veggies and it is only 10. Service is top notch. Nice and hard working.
Can be pricey, but hands down is the best teriyaki chicken in Asheville. Far better than ichiban asaka and yoshida's Express. The lo mein noodles we're perfectly hydrated and the chicken is cut in a way for maximum flavor. The teriyaki sauce is the best I've ever had. I don't know why this place is under 5 stars but I'm not going to lie this is the best food on the planet. I'm never disappointed. My only gripe would be that you have to pay extra for white sauce and it could be a little cheaper but the food taste and quality blows everything else out of the water. A. If you want the best Japanese you have ever had. eat here
I've become a weekend regular here, the flavors are amazing and I haven't had a bad meal during any of my visits thusfar, the quality control delivers a consistent product that slams your palate with flavor. Definitely try this place over the panda express next to it.
